There are more than 57,000 people working in the tech industry in the Tampa area. But what's more important is that there are 6,000 technical job openings. In other words, ten percent of tech jobs in this area are vacant.

Why's this such a huge problem? Tech companies in Tampa Bay compete nationally and sometimes even globally. To continue competing and growing, these companies can't afford to not have a capable tech team because it leaves a ridiculous amount of work not getting done.
